An Introduction to the church of Christ
The church of Christ seeks to worship and serve God only in the ways explicity stated within the New Testament. Each congregation of the church of Christ is completely autonomous. Ther is no headquarters, board of directors, or higher decision-making body save the throne of Heaven itself. Therefore, we seek to abide solely to the Gospel of Christ as the foundation for all that we do.  We have no creed book or discipline that is held to the same authority as the Bible.  The Bible alone serves as our guide.
What We Believe
We believe that every individual can come to a proper knowledge and understanding of the truth. God has given us His Word by which we have all that we need to understand His commandments (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:3). Hence, an honest assessment of the things contained within the Scriptures will lead to the same conclusion for all those who are seeking to answer the most important questions of life: “What must I do to be saved?” and “What must I do to properly serve my God?”

We understand that the principles and commandments set forth in the Bible are the only avenues by which we may obtain knowledge of what God would have us do. Therefore, our Sunday worship services consist of the following five acts which we see evidenced in the New Testament: congregational singing without an instrumental accompaniment (Eph. 5:19), prayer (I Tim. 2:1-4), partaking of the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7), giving (I Cor. 16:1-2), and preaching (II Tim. 4:2).

The Scriptures also teach what is necessary for acceptance into the kingdom of God. This requires an understanding of the Word of God through hearing (Rom. 10:13-17), a belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God (John 8:24), the repentance of one's sins (Acts 2:38), a confession before men that Jesus is the Son of God (Rom. 10:9-10), and immersion in water for the remission of sins (I Pet. 3:21; Rom. 6:1-4).

Finally, one must live faithfully to God until the moment of death (Rev. 2:10). Therefore, it is our endeavor to follow after the exact precepts and principles stated in the New Testament. As such, we neither add to nor take from those things that God’s Word teaches (Rev. 22:18-19).
